I have an equally strong passion for both teaching and research; indeed my career does not feel complete nor as meaningful and satisfying to me when I am primarily engaged in only one of these passions. My teaching dossier includes several upper-level undergraduate courses which I have developed, including: Emotions & Behaviour, Positive Psychology: The Science of Wellbeing, Nature & Wellbeing, The Psychology of Meaning in Life. I ground the curriculum for all of these courses in scientific evidence and theory alongside practical, applied knowledge, in-class discussions and experiential assignments. A sample of syllabi and other course documents from these courses are posted below. Syllabi are updated every semester.
